For the Spring 2020 edition of the Landscape Journal: Building infrastructure in the age of Climate Crisis, we contributed an article on Underground Urbanism, encouraging Landscape Architects to use their skills to stitch together the layers of our urban landscapes. Landscape Architects have an important role to play in stitching cities together in a manner that optimises land while also ensuring that the journey of a pedestrian through a city is a coherent and enjoyable one.

Our article considered the natural systems disrupted through constructing the infrastructure needed in a city, how we can overcome urban severance, and create multifunctional & adaptable infrastructure. The article, along with other editions of the Journal, published by the Landscape Institute, is available on ISSUU.
